Recenzii
"...his [Sasek] edition is just as stunning and plentiful as his previous books--stacked with fabulous observances on the life and scenes of [our] beautiful country. A must-have for Aussies and everyone else, too." ~Kids-Bookreview.com
"This is an outstanding book, full of facts and well illustrated. Younger children will be interested in the birds and animals. Others - including adults - may be interested in history, cities, and buildings." ~Douglas McWilliams, San Francisco Book Review

Descriere
In this work first published in 1970, Sasek swings down under, winging his readers into Sydney, with its famous bridge and space-age Opera House; bustling, modern Melbourne; colonial Adelaide; semitropical Brisbane; the garden city of Canberra; mineral-rich Perth; and Alice Springs, Australia's most famous outback town. Full color.
