Cultural religiosity has penetrated U.S. society and constricted free-thinking in ways similar to Islam's stranglehold on the Middle East. We are programed and don't know it. The First Amendment's religious neutrality covenant between individual liberty and establishment religion is broken and ignored. Socially and politically, we either conform or suffer ostracism. Christian nonsense radiates throughout society, children are brainwashed, conformity is enforced, and human nature is repressed relentlessly. 'Red State' America has united into a bastion of dimwitted, Tea Party extremists--lockstep voters for 'God the Imaginary.'
