There have been many courageous women in history-Joan of Arc, Florence Nightingale and Eleanor Roosevelt, to name just a few. The women in these stories exhibit great determination and courage to overcome their individual obstacles. The first woman, Bernadine Hurley, marries a West Point Cadet. However, shortly after the honeymoon her husband changes dramatically and is engrossed only in his career and having a son to carry on his name. After her husband's death, watch what happens to Bernadine. The second lady, Frances Ann Taylor, a graduate of architectural school, gets involved with a rock band and heads onto a downward path of drugs and booze.
