An oil rig accident triggers a rapidly progressing mutation in tiger sharks giving them an affinity for crude oil. Known as anomaly sharks by the growth on their side, each new generation is more intelligent, matures faster and breeds more prolifically. But radical behavior changes making them more deadly are only the beginning. A voracious horde of sharks is sweeping the beaches and threatening shipping in the Caribbean on their way to the Gulf of Mexico and the shores of the United States.
