Hunt's Famous Confections, the world's most famous candy company, produces not only the most extraordinary-tasting, one-of-kind candies the world has ever known, but also a small line of special candies that have the most extraordinary properties. Upon eating one, they bestow - abilities.
FISH FIZZLES - Super fizzy, super sour candies which allow you to breathe underwater as you suck on them. SPORT SENSATIONS - Can't play golf? Never learned to swim? Gain the skill for one day.
But not everyone loves Hunt's Famous Confections. Certainly not Dick West of West's World Famous Watermouthers, the Hunt's arch rival and key competitor. Dick West has, for years, been trying to figure out how Hunt's makes candies with magical properties and he will do anything to find out. And now he has the perfect opportunity. The newest recipe, Diamond, which has been created to celebrate a benchmark anniversary of the Company, has been stolen. And as far as Timothy Hunt is concerned, it could only have been West. Determined not to let this nasty man get away with this, eleven-year-old Timothy enlists an unusual group of friends to help him break into the West factory and recover the stolen recipe. But little do they know, someone will smell a Rat. A Rat named Oddball, who becomes aware of their plan and is determined to stop them.
Timothy, together with his friends Jack, Singletary, Ellie, Chester and Horton, hatch a plan to get back that which is so valuable to the future of his family's Company and their future. The most special recipe of all - Diamond.
How will Timothy Hunt and his extraordinary friends solve "The Great Candy Caper"?
