This story is about Lady Mei Splotches and the elderly woman who adopted her. Although they have lots of "adventures" along the creek, a lot of "adventurers" come to them. Such is the case of the "Squad of Warrior Fairies" who dropped in one winter day. The "Squad" consists of Tinstan, Curly, Zinnie, Zassie and Brin. They are on their way home from war.
