To Retribution
Autor Fj Curlewen Limba Engleză Paperback – dec 2016
The military is in control, media censored, movement restricted. There are re-education camps for troublemakers, repatriation camps for non-nationals.
Suze, an idealistic young journalist, is used to hiding as her cell tries to keep its online news channel open. They publish the truth about the repatriations, the corruption, the deceipt. New Dawn, the feared security force, is closing in yet again. Suze runs, yet again. This time, however, she is pursued with a relentlessness; a brutality which seems far too extreme for her 'crimes'.
A trail of death is left in her wake as she tries to escape New Dawn and find out what is really behind this hunt. She is drawn into a web of human trafficking, child abuse and murder. Only it's closer than she thinks. Much closer

Notă biografică
Fiona was the winner of the Federation of Writers (Scotland) short story competition, 2023.She dropped out of school aged 15, because being the consummate rebel, she hated it! After becoming a single parent she decided to return to education, graduating in 1996 with an honours degree in primary education. Ah, the irony! As soon as she graduated she packed everything she owned into her Renault 11, including her daughter, two dogs and a cat, and headed off to Estonia to become an international school teacher. After fifteen years of teaching, predominantly in Eastern Europe, she returned to the UK.She now lives on the east coast of Scotland and has written four novels under her pen name of F J Curlew. She has used her given name, Fiona Curnow, for her fifth novel. Her writing has been described as, "Human experience impacted upon by political situation, interwoven with a love of nature."
