Artur Georgevich Tokarev. Born in 1969, he graduated from the Rostov State Architecture Institute in 1996 as a candidate in architecture. He is a senior lecturer at the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, and advisor to the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Science. His professional interests include: the history and theory of architecture, the methodology of architectural design, teaching, and practical work. Igor Avenirovich Bychkov. Born in 1978, he graduated from the Moscow State University of Culture and the Arts in 2005. He is the coordinator of the `Architecture of the Avant-Garde Era in the South of Russiä project, and organiser and leader of more than 10 research expeditions. He is also a consultant to the Shchusev Research Museum of Architecture as part of a collaborative project aimed at drawing up a `concept for the preservation of items of cultural heritage that are monuments of the Soviet architectural avant-garde¿.
