Tolund's Waking

At twelve years of age, Tolund Dellender has somehow managed to make a deadly enemy. The warlock Celnumus has his sights set on world domination, yet this goal seems secondary to wiping the Dellender family out of existence.

Celnumus's plan involves releasing a lethal plague on the world of Vedris-a plague that has already ravaged Tolund's village and robbed him of his father.

Now adrift in the haunted wastelands and fighting simply to survive, Tolund finds himself on a collision course with Celnumus. Aiding the young man as he contends with the worst the wasteland has to offer are a trusted mentor and three of Tolund's closest friends. But not all his friends will prove true, and not all will make it out alive.

If he survives betrayal, monstrous giants, and devastating magic, Tolund must still face Celnumus, the greatest warlock Vedris has ever seen. It's all a bit much for a young man from a small village to deal with.

Described as a cross between The Hobbit and Indiana Jones, Tolund's Waking introduces readers to a world where actions have unforgiving, often brutal consequences and personal struggles are as intense as a battle against the most vicious monster.
