Notă biografică

Since Derek Sumeray retired in 1986 he has devoted his time to research, in particular into the history of London and its commemorative plaques. In preparing this book, he has undertaken exhaustive documentary research and walked hundreds of miles across the city to locate the plaques and photograph them. This book and his previous work Discovering London Plaques (Shire Publications) are the result of this meticulous and pioneering work.
