Tragedies Are Commonplace

Who can you trust? It is a hard feeling, even for those of us who have had the time to learn things through life experiences and other routes. But how much harder is it for a child to have to ask herself about such principles? Trust and love may seem like fairy tale filler when all of life has been neglect and abuse. Ava Robinson knows all too well that some little girls simply don't get a godmother, a prince, or a night at the ball. Some little girls get tragedies, and Ava has gotten too many for her young mind to keep up with. Yet the effects are still very clear.
