Training Circular TC 4-02.3 provides hygiene and sanitation guidance for Soldiers in the field and while deployed. The publication outlines individual and leader responsibilities and describes individual and leader preventive medicine measures and guidance for Soldiers. Implementation of the techniques presented in this publication enable individual Soldiers to remain healthy in the field and enable commanders to maintain a fit and healthy force capable of accomplishing the mission in any environment. The principal audience for TC 4-02.3 is commanders, subordinate leaders, individual Soldiers, Department of Defense (DOD) civilians and contractors.
