Are you crying for attention, deliverance, love, and most of all a clear understanding of who you are, as well as thinking of the most pondered question, "Why am I here"? Have you been verbally abused, physically abused, talked about, left out, or put down? Have you ever felt alone, down and out? In Treasure Chest Revealed: Pieces of Me, the author speaks on real-life experiences that shaped and developed her to become the woman of God she is today. The title of the book simply means the author is revealing pieces (poetry) as parts of her life or the things on her heart (chest) that she wishes to share for the purpose of testimony and inspiration. She gives more than a book of poems; she takes time to give you background of her real life in brief summaries following each poem (piece) to encourage understanding of what life event provoked each piece. You won't read a traditional autobiography because I'm not aiming to bore you with just another story to read. I aim to encourage you through my truth and my understanding of life with a poetic style of writing. I like to call it Preached Poetry. I come to tell a real story, to deliver a real message, and my reasoning is not to entertain but change lives one page at time.
