Ian Stokell has been a professional writer and journalist for 30 years, he has authored many triathlon and fitness-related articles for a variety of publications worldwide, including Lava magazine and the ironman.com website. He is a long-time, dedicated triathlete who competed in his first half-Ironman distance triathlon more than a decade ago while studying for his master's degree in physical education, with an emphasis on coaching, from California State University, Chico.
