Tribute Night at the Social in its original version was awarded 3^rd prize in the 2017 Yeovil 'Writing Without Restrictions' competition. The setting is the fictional Bannockpace Sports & Social Club, and the open mic event for poets is 'hosted' by a one famous comedian and 'gatecrashed' by another !
Each poetic tribute is presented with skill, affection and humour by the author, whose Liverpudlian roots are in evidence throughout. This book is a follow-up to his debut collection, Bird's Eye View.
