True Heart Intuitive Tarot, Guidebook And Deck
Autor Rachel TRUEen Limba Engleză Paperback – 12 oct 2020
Rachel True, an actress best known for her role in The Craft, is a lifelong occultist—she had been reading tarot cards long before being cast in the 90s witchy cult classic. Now, True shares her tarot knowledge through her unique guidebook and deck boxed set. Each card in the deck is uniquely made following a beautiful, multicultural aesthetic. True’s guidebook helps readers use the cards as she does: with an intuitive approach, rather than assigning one literal definition to each card. She shares personal stories from her experiences in Hollywood to explain how the cards can mean something different for each person, depending on their unique set of circumstances. True’s stance is that tarot cards don’t predict the future, but rather suggest possible outcomes based on the reader’s present energy.

Recenzii
One of Slate's "Best Self Care Gifts" One of City Book Review's Recommended "Stocking Stuffers" Included in Religion News's "Holiday Gift Guide" "I love TRUE HEART for Rachel’s cadence, her humor, her insight as a natural essayist and her distinctively wry talent as an authorial hostess. It’s like she zings you as you read and anticipates your reaction. She opens windows to our collective psyches and checks to make sure we’re okay. This book is a gift to push on your friends, especially the ones trying to figure out how to 2020 their way through 2020." —Carolyn Kepnes author of You, Hidden Bodies, and the forthcoming You Love Me "I have known for years that Rachel True is a wonderful storyteller. It's apparent in everything from interviews with her, her social media presence, and any of her live appearances. She is all the roles she's so beautifully embodied, but she is so very much more than that —a lifelong artist, creative, and witchy individual of note! She's the whole package! I was not surprised at all that this beautiful tarot book is very much a memoir interwoven with a tarot education guide. As you go through the major arcana, you'll see how Rachel uses her real-life experiences to illustrate important points about possible ways to interpret the cards. Add the beautifully illustrated cards with their array of diverse faces and bodies, and you'll have an incredible time with this experience! —Sara Benincasa, author of Agorafabulous! and Real Artists Have Day Jobs "True shares her no-nonsense, practically-minded advice...Peppered throughout the book is a series of open-hearted personal essays, each detailing the ways a specific card has helped True intuit a different moment in her life...The boxed set makes one thing clear: tarot can help the drawer unpack what’s already lurking beneath the surface [...] in a way that delivers the clarity they seek." —Shondaland “True’s 224-page book is part spiritual manual, part Hollywood memoir told through a series of intimate yet illustrative essays; her own story used to explain in depth the archetypal hero’s journey represented by each of the 22 cards of the Major Arcana… Throughout, True offers a vulnerable yet pragmatic lens on how the tarot can be an interpretive tool, even as she sprinkles her narrative with pop-cultural breadcrumbs.” —The Root “True shares intimate stories about her life and career in her first book, True Heart Intuitive Tarot, which comes with a tarot deck. She details how she withstands adversity while maintaining her inner light and introduces readers to her esoteric practice…True’s memoir-like essays extend beyond the parties, award shows, and once-in-a-lifetime celebrity experiences she’s had. She instead focuses on ‘the things that define us,’ ‘releasing shame,’ and uncovering the best within ourselves." —ZORA —
