This story is focused around the life and times of an anonymous computer analyst whose efforts to protect and maintain his Intellectual Property, copyrights and patents have been constantly thwarted at each and every turn by the greedy corporations he's worked for, in addition to crooked politicians and what could best be described as questionable legal representation. Throughout the course of his thirty year tenure, he's been bullied by an enemy whose remained virtually undetectable choosing instead to operate in the shadows. However, despite constant exposure to harmful chemicals in the workplace, among other questionable practices, our protagonist has remained true to his convictions while seeking justice through the telling of his compelling story. Originally born in Dallas, Stuart Shockley relocated to Hot Springs, Arkansas shortly after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy - where as a small boy - he was subsequently injured by a live wire while playing with his brothers. He received 30 thousand volts of electricity that day, thus inducing a coma requiring a nineteen day stay in the hospital. Upon recovery, he dedicated his life toward making the world a better place, which eventually landed him writing new software while programming computers back in the day of their infancy. Even back then he recognized the dichotomy naturally embedded within technology, instinctively understanding it could just as easily be used for evil as well as good, thus began an odyssey few will fully comprehend and even less could endure. The subsequent theft of his intellectual property surrounding an ill-fated patent filed on an invention utilizing digital communications back when the world was still struggling with analog, singled him out amongst his fellow contemporaries while introducing him to a world where corporate greed and political corruption override traits like honesty and hard work. He was given a separate education in coercion with courses of study focusing on topics like surveillance, stalking and being targeted for exposure to harmful chemicals both at home and in the workplace. As he struggled to gain insight as to why the doors that were once opened began to close, he uncovered possible links to the presidency, in addition to organized crime, as people around him alluded to danger, secret societies and millions of dollars at stake. During the last twenty years, he has been approached by both friend and foe in the form of people like the Shiners, Arkansas State Police and even a man claiming to be Secret Service to name just a few, some offering incentives like property and money in exchange for his cooperation. During a process that spans the past twenty years, he has lost both family and friends while his marriage crumbled and his father died under suspicious circumstances.
