Viking Chieftain Trym the Brave is leading an army of his men on an invasion of The Great Island. While there, he begins having visions of a beautiful woman and her people. His visions show him that these incredibly creative and peaceful people, who eventually become known as the Elves of Nessa, are under attack by a hideous invader. Trym's visions lead him on a quest to find and help the people of Nessa. After suffering the first defeat in his life at the hands of the Islanders, he sets off with a small group of his men to find the people of his visions. The Vikings sail into a massive storm and Trym perishes along with his men. His will is so strong, however, that he transcends death, taking a different path than the one to Valhalla. This path leads him to Nessa and the beautiful princess Donella. After gaining the trust of Donella's father, King Olorin, Trym is asked to help defend Nessa against the Bonewarrior armies of the evil King Tolorad. Trym's Journey's take him through several mystical places as he works to protect the peaceful people of Nessa. Author Bio: J. L. Morv is the pen name for John L.
