Notă biografică
Kenan Aksu was born in Kastamonu in 1978. He is a historian and a political analyst focusing on EU-Turkey relations and the energy security issues. He regularly organizes conferences and gives talks. He has written numerous articles and published a book related to WWI. He has a History degree from University of Mimar Sinan, Istanbul, and an MA degree from University of London, SOAS. He is currently doing a PhD degree in International Relations at the Politics Department in University of London, Goldsmiths College. At the same time he is a teacher of history and international relations. Aksu believes that Turkey must carry on its Westernisation journey while keeping the valuable characteristics of its well established thousands years old civilization. He thinks Turkey and Europe are inseparable from each other.
