Notă biografică
Victor Bankhead is a native of Kannapolis, NC and a 1981 graduate of Northwest Cabarrus HS. He is the youngest son of John R Bankhead Sr and Gladys M Bankhead. After graduating from HS, Victor join the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman and served 22 honorable years. During the course of his military service he married and of that union were born two children. After retiring from the Army Victor entered college and graduated in 2013. Twelve Years and Eight Months is his first attempt at writing a book. This book was written as a form of therapy after going through the prolonged mental illness of his wife.
