L. D. Ellis has always had a desire to help people reach their highest potential. She knew she wanted to be a helper and writer from an early age. Others noted her commitment to encourage individuals to never give up. L. D. Ellis holds a Bachelor of Science degree and her strong interest in Mental Health led her to earn a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a Counselor and Certified Trauma-Based Life Coach. To be of service to others, L. D. Ellis uses an integrative approach to helping people work through their life struggles. She takes a trauma-informed approach to her work. This approach considers thoughts and behaviors that influence how we feel, think, make choices and effectively solve problems in response to traumatic experiences. Ellis is happily married with three children and enjoys going to the beach and writing.
