Timothy D. Neufeld is the chair of the Biblical and Religious Studies Department at Fresno Pacific University, Fresno, California, where he teaches the class Theology, Culture and U2. He has presented academic papers on U2 and is a writer for the award-winning U2 fansite www.atU2.com.
Descriere
Neufeld explores U2's phases of artistic expression, cultural engagement, and employment of faith and activism as a foundation for success. Through close readings of their musical work and the interplay of artistic and social engagement, this book outlines how U2 forever changed the very musical and political culture from which it was born.
