Nkemi one of the Otani warriors rescued the beautiful Uredo on her way to visit one of her aunts in Obaji and fell in love with her, during one of his visits he made a promise to see her on particular day, though it was rainy and he very sick, he still risked the visit which became very disastrous, a fisherman rescued him and took care of him and later adopted him as his son.
