Zachary Michael Jack has authored or edited more than a half dozen books. JackA¢i½i½s interest in environment and community originates in his familyA¢i½i½s more than 150-year-old Iowa Heritage Farm and finds expression in his directing and founding of the Iowa School of Lost Arts for children in 2004. JackA¢i½i½s most recent edited collection, Letters to a Young Iowan: Good Sense from the Good Folks of Iowa for Young People Everywhere reflects his ongoing commitment to todayA¢i½i½s young people. An assistant professor of English, Jack teaches courses in writing and rural studies and urban studies at North Central College (Naperville, Illinois).
