Borisova Elena Georgievna - graduated from Moscow State University (structural and applied linguistics) in 1977 post-graduate studies 1977-80. 20 years in Pushkin Russian Language Institute, then some experience in advertising. The pPhD (Candidate) thesis was focused on the semantics of Russian modal particles, the 2nd (Doctoral) thesis concerned the semantic models and forming fixed collocations Since 2008 a professor in Moscow City Teachers' Training University, teaches the theory of communication, new trends in linguistics, language of advertising. E.Borisova is an author of several handbooks on Russian in use, books and articles on semantics, pragmatics and perlocutive linguistics (language of mass-media, politics and advertising) She has been an organizer of conferences 'Understanding by communication' since 2002. Souleymanova Olga A. graduated from St.-Petersburg University, Candidate Thesis (1987) dealt with semantic types of nouns and their determiners (all/whole and Russian ves' / tselyj); Doctoral Thesis (2000) focused on semantics of Russian Impersonal Sentences. Now Professor with Moscow City Teachers' Training University, teaches Language Theory, Translation Studies. Research Priorities: focus on cognitive studies (lexical and syntactical semantics of natural language); research techniques (linguistic experiment).
