Ann McIver McHoes has been writing about computers for 25 years, including, with the late Ida M. Flynn, the first four editions Understanding Operating Systems, two of which received awards for excellence from the Text and Academic Authors Association. As an adjunct professor, she teaches at Duquesne University and has also served on the adjunct faculty at Chatham University and Carlow University.
