You see, in my life, I have been able to read extensively, hoping that by so doing, the knowledge obtained from books written from the human mind would give answers to my aspirations. Somewhere, some desires were met though but somehow, I always felt that there was something fundamentally missing in my life. Years of brainstorming had left me disillusioned and frustrated. It got to a point I felt that all the self-actualisations I pursued through obtaining academic qualifications wasn't bringing the self-esteems of my desires. Lately, I came to realise that the practical applications of all the acquired knowledge are temporal. That, regardless of how much you earn, it soon evaporates and puts you right back where you started. Please Do not get me wrong. Just because I feel this way personally, does not mean that it is the same for other people. It's probable that if I am feeling disillusioned someone somewhere is probably observing or going through the same disillusioned characteristics.
