Notă biografică
Deborah Kagan grew up fast. A native New Yorker from a functionally dysfunctional family, she was highly sexualized at a young age. Her mostly absentee father and her mother's example of self worth being wrapped up in the man-of-the-moment molded a twisted brew for Deborah's own sense of self. Six summers at sleep away camp followed by four years of boarding school provided Kagan with her first platforms for doling out sex advice. Two separate three-month stints living in Italy (at ages 16 and 18) initiated her into body consciousness, bartending at nightclubs through college schooled her in mating rituals and studying the healing properties of crystals turned her on to the metaphysical arts. She's traveled the world studying the affects of energy on people and places in addition to experimenting with many forms of meditation. And she's had copious encounters with men from all walks of life. As a writer, Kagan's book, "Find Your ME Spot: 52 Ways to Reclaim Your Confidence, Feel Good in Your Own Skin and Live a Turned On Life" went #1 on Amazon. Her essay "Smash Up" was included in "What Was I Thinking?" published by St. Martin's Press in February 2009. The book, featured in O Magazine's must-reads as well as the Today Show on NBC, is slated to become a major motion picture produced by New Line Cinema. She has various essays in collections, including "Rockstar Success Stories" with fellow contributors and Hollywood actors Dean Cain, Ernie Hudson and Entrepreneur/TV personality, Larry Broughton. The online magazine, Pharmakos, published her piece "Mute". She is a regular on the LA spoken word scene sharing her essays and stories at such venues as Tasty Words, Wordplay, Live Stories, Sex Talk Live, Da Poetry Lounge and Spark. Her words appear regularly on various blogs including the spiritual power portal, the Bodhi Tree and the highly trafficked, Digital Romance. Kagan's passion for supporting women living consciously from their fullest and most authentic selves led her to become a Mojo Recovery Specialist (www.deborah-kagan.com). She helps women turn their lives into one of confidence, power and pleasure. When they work with her through one-on-one coaching or her dynamic virtual or live workshops, women feel empowered, less stressed and experience increased energy. She shows women how to decode their sexual energy and start using it to achieve greater results (think more money, better health and sexier relationships). Kagan keeps her finger on the pulse of women's issues making sure to spread the knowledge through her no-holds-barred social media platforms, livestreams and media presence including KTLA Morning News, Midday Live with Dr. Drew and The Aware Show with Lisa Garr. This is where she offers enlightened inspiration and information for women and the men who love them.
