Before he took assignment in America after ordination, he witnessed an expulsion in his England seminary. His friend and former roommate, Ridley Isaac Preston, had started to behave strangely when comfortable, almost gleeful madness and dark fixation set in when he unearthed a quieted murder. This murder intrigued Ridley such that one specific voice and several other voices called out to him from beyond the unholy graves surrounding St. George's Seminary. Father Andy knew that Ridley concocted a powerful vampire curse right in the seminary's chapel a few weeks after being expelled. This vengeful curse was a way out of life-threatening illnesses and wrongful acts, in that an alternate life with special powers is a better life-infusing existence. The thirst for blood is not difficult but the dreams, ghosts, ethical struggles between immortal and eternal, and even unexpected dueling timelines would always have to be reckoned with. Ridley stayed absent for ten years from Father Andy's life as a pastor in a Roman Catholic Church. As a new Master Vampire gathering his deadly powers, he was only plotting his return which would involve two former altar boys of Father Andy. One will try to protect his former pastor, while the other will carry out Master Ridley's plan to show him that salvation is in the blood of the undead.
