Published twice-yearly, "Upon Paper" is a new large-format periodical offering a platform for works on paper. Each issue is devoted to a single theme; the theme for this inaugural issue is Los Angeles. Housed in a folding box, "Upon Paper" 1 includes works by Wim Wenders, Jack Pierson, Jack Kerouac, John Severson, David Hockney, Hugh Holland, Doug Aitkin and Michael Maltzen.
