Margherita Carlucci is Full Professor of Economic Statistics at the Department of Social and Economics Sciences of Sapienza University of Rome, member of Sapienza University Quality Assurance Committee. Former Director of the Department of Economics of Sapienza University of Rome and Vice-President of IS.CO.NA (Institute of National Accounts). Currently her research interests include integrated systems of economic, social and environmental accounting; the relationship between socioeconomic factors and land degradation; the dynamics of urban development; the definition and measurement of indicators of sustainable development.
