This book was authored by Maha Rushi Vaalmiki in Sanskrit after the life of Raama. It describes in detail the background of Raavana and his family; the rule of Raama; the life of his brothers; the consecration of the sons of Raama and his brothers to their respective kingdoms; and the ending of the Avatar of Lord Raama and his ascending back to his abode. It is a must-read for all devotees of Raama and the lovers of the historical book Raamayana.
