Notă biografică
Vesna Lopicic is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Nis, Serbia. Her publications include Fall into Culture: Human Nature in the Work of William Golding and Margaret Atwood (2002), two collections of essays on Canadian literature, and a number of course books and readers. She co-edited (with B. Misic Ilic) two collections of essays: Identity Issues: Literary and Linguistic Landscapes (2010), and Challenging Change: Literary and Linguistic Responses (2012) published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. She teaches courses in English Literature and British and Canadian Studies. Her research is focused on the Serbian diaspora and on the novel in English. Biljana Misic Ilic is a Full Professor at the English Department, Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Nis, Serbia. Her areas of academic interests include syntax, pragmatics, discourse analysis and applied linguistics. She is the author of two coursebooks on syntax, a monograph on syntax-pragmatics interface, and a collection of linguistic essays covering topics in syntax, semantics and discourse. She co-edited (with V. Lopicic) nine books of proceedings from national and international conferences, as well as two collections of essays Identity Issues: Literary and Linguistic Landscapes (2010), and Challenging Change: Literary and Linguistic Responses (2012) published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
