Veganism, on the other hand, pertains not only to the no-animals diet itself, but also to their lifestyles in general. Their motivation varies - it could be religion, ethical, political, health, or environmental - mostly anchored on ethics. A vegan does not eat or use meat products. Colin Campbell argues that vegetarianism can dramatically reduce cancer risk by cutting off the consumption of casein (found in milk from mammals), as "casein is the most significant carcinogen we consume". This spells out the bottom line - longevity.
