Vein of Deception

Today, as government officials in Washington, D.C., prepare to start a three-day weekend, the president of the United States isn't thinking of a holiday. Instead, he is viewing footage of the strange torture and murder of his best friend, a sitting U.S. senator.

It is determined that the senator was killed by terrorists wielding a mysterious toxin that exhibits a combination of symptoms that neither the Department of Defense nor the CIA has ever seen.
