PRAISE FOR THIERRY ROBBERECHT'S SUPERHERO SCHOOL:
"The story is clever and kids will appreciate that Henry's skills are needed. Goossens's illustrations are bright and inviting. An appealing storytime choice." - School Library Journal
“Superhero School” feels a little like a combination of “The Incredibles” and “Monsters Inc.” ...Kids will love the bright colors, imaginative monster and daring little superheroes. They will also learn that being different isn’t necessarily a bad thing and that humor can go a long way toward making a sticky situation better." - Crackingthecover.com

Notă biografică
Thierry Robberecht has two children and lives in Brussels (Belgium). He has been writing children’s books since fifteen years now, often about subjects that children find difficult to talk about, e.g. secrets, death, envy and rage. He likes to create characters who feel like they don’t fit in. His own childhood is an excellent source of inspiration for that.
Loufane’s real name is Stephanie Frippiat. She was born in 1976 and grew up in Aarlen (Belgium). For years she dreamt about making a big journey. Now that dream has become true: she now lives in Canada with her boyfriend.

Extras
When Vincent opens his eyes in his egg, it's dark as night. He hears his mother's soft voice saying: "Just a little more patience, little one, you have all the time in the world to be born. Stay in the warm egg a little longer. Wait."
But Vincent can't b calm; he's a restless chick. The last thing he wants is to sit in the dark. He wants to see his mommy, and he can't wait. That's why he starts to tap the eggshell with his beak. He makes small holes that let in the light. "Oh..." he whispers, "a sky filled with stars!"
"Wait, my darling," Mommy says, worried. "You're still too small. You don't have enough strength yet to break your own egg...."
But Vincent wants to know what is happening in the world. He wants to see the light.
And his mommy, of course.
That's why he taps his beak, harder and harder, until the egg finally breaks. And that is how Vincent the restless chick is born. He is the first one. None of the other eggs even have a crack yet. "Hi Mommy," Vincent says. "I'm here!"
"Hello my sweet impatient boy," says his mother, and she smiles.
