A double homicide in a remote corner of New Mexico soon takes a sinister turn when FBI agent Aaron Kingswood uncovers evidence that leads to an assassination plot to kill the US President and First Lady during their scheduled meeting with other world leaders in the South Pacific.
Forced to re-instate disgraced agent Nicholas Hawk, now residing in New Zealand, the federal agency co-opts a member of the Secret Service, Terri Durange, to work with Hawk in an endeavor to thwart any attempt on the President's life.
