This census names only the head of the household. Often times when an individual was missed on the regular U.S. Census, he would appear on this agricultural census. There are forty-eight columns of information in the agricultural census, six of which are listed here. They include name of owner, improved acreage, unimproved acreage, cash value of the farm, value of farm implements and machinery, and value of livestock. This volume includes the counties of Culpeper, Cumberland, Dinwiddie, City of Petersburg, Elizabeth City, Essex, Fairfax, Fauquier, Floyd, Fluvanna, Franklin, Frederick, Giles, Gloucester, Goochland, Grayson, Greene, Greensville, and Halifax.
