Notă biografică

Marguerite Quintelli-Neary is an Associate Professor of English at Winthrop University, where she teaches courses in British and Irish Literature, the Novel, and folklore and edits Working Papers in Irish Studies. She has published numerous articles on modern Irish literature and folklore in Nua, The Journal of Irish Literature, Etudes Irlandaises, New Hibernia Review, Kelten and other journals. She served as assistant editor of and contributor to the 2-volume Dictionary of Irish Literature in 1996 (Greenwood); her study of the Irish novel and fantasy appeared in 1997 (Greenwood); and her most recent study, The Irish American Myth of the Frontier West of 2008 (Academica, Maunsel imprint), examines Irish American folklore and the American frontier of the 1860s-1880s.
