Recenzii
Victoria Avery has succeeded admirably in her purpose, and no one interested in the history of Venetian bronzes will ignore her important book.
Notă biografică
Victoria Avery is the Keeper of Applied Arts at The Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge. She was previously Associate Professor in the Department of Art History at the University of Warwick, where she taught courses focusing on Italian Renaissance art and architecture. Since completing her British Academy funded PhD on the work of the Venetian Renaissance sculptor, Alessandro Vittoria (Cambridge 1996), Dr Avery has spent a great deal of time conducting research in the archives in Venice on aspects of Venetian Renaissance sculpture, which has resulted in numerous publications on the subject.
