Wake Up Body of Christ

Autor Oleeta J. Radley
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 31 mar 2013
Wake Up Body of Christ provides great insight to some issues identified within the body of Christ, amongst many congregations. Many people talk about how boring service is or the many issues they find throughout the body of Christ. But, very few step up to provide any real resolutions to the identified issues. More often than not they even contribute to some non-identified issues within many congregations. Non-believers complain about believers turning their noses up towards them when they enter the buildings. They say that they feel uncomfortable when attending services, so they don't go or they turn away without giving Christ another thought. After all if this is what Christ is all about and being like Him, giving my life to Him is about; I don't want any part of it. They say they are just like me but worse because they are fake at least I'm doing what I'm doing without shame and being 100% at it. At least I'm staying true to everything that I'm doing. They say the people treat them like outsiders and the atmosphere is not a welcoming one. They say people shout and holler praises to the Lord during services, but outside they curse, club, and act as if the praising and shouting was nothing but an empty performance for others to see and to somehow make themselves feel like they are at a certain status within the body of Christ. This unruly and mistreatment of non-believers is unfortunately very common and does not display the love of Christ that Christ commanded His Church to display. Oleeta Radley in Wake Up Body of Christ identifies the issues within the Church and offers resolutions to those identified issues.
