In addition, publishing through Amazon and Kindle gives us writers an opportunity to get our work out there in a world where social media platforms dictate who sees our stuff. Amazon and Kindle give us hope in an online world we have little control over. However. I am not just a poet- I am an artist. The flow, font type and arrangement is all wildly intentional and adds to my story. The manner in which I tell my story is of great importance to me and I don't want to compromise my artistic decisions to meet the requirements of Kindle. The paperback version of the wildflower edition feels complete. I breathe creativity and by changing the wildflower edition to fit within Kindle's requirements, I feel strangled and incapable of breathing. So I choose air and authenticity over profits and notoriety. I love books- stacks of paper printed with ink bound together. Sometimes when I'm stressed or overwhelmed with life, just the act of holding a book makes me feel better. So I hope you purchase the paperback version of the wildflower edition.
