Walking with God: Living the Promised Life is a ten week in-depth Bible study of the book of Joshua in workbook format. God promised the Israelites an inheritance in the land of Canaan. But they had to leave Egypt behind and walk with Him into the their land of promise. Joshua was their leader. Through this study, you will witness his victories and his defeats, and you will discover what made the difference. Sometimes he followed God obediently and without question. Other times, he chose his own way. Each decision impacted the Israelites journey. As a believer in Christ, you are guaranteed an eternal Promised Land in heaven, but God has also given you a designated territory on earth where you can flourish and use your gifts and talents for His glory along the way. Joshua's journey represents ours as we walk with God through this life en roue to our eternal Promised Land. Walking with God means living your faith. It is trusting in Him and Him alone. It is seeing giants, but stepping confidently into the future because you believe the promises of Christ. Walking with God is the difference between slavery to sin, and freedom in Christ. It is victory, not defeat. It is living the promised life.
