Short stories from a wandering traveler The author hiked around the world and wrote a column known as "Kerwien's Korner." This book is a wonderful read with his trips and adventures told in short story form. You can open the book to any section and find an interesting and unique tale. The author received a honorable discharge in Europe and hiked through that area including the Middle east. After returning to the United States he again set out on a hike to Asia and ended up in a Korean orphanage. Once again he returned to the United Sates and hiked his way from Seattle to New York. Several years later he took a motorcycle trip on Route One from L. A. to the Canadian border. Many of the stories included in this book are from these adventures.
