Over the past decade, extensive research has been dedicated to the development of aerobic granulation technology for high-efficiency wastewater treatment. Taking a systematic approach, Wastewater Purification provides a comprehensive understanding of aerobic granulation in sequencing batch reactors by presenting fundamental principles of aerobic granulation along with the basics of process operation under various conditions. The book explains what aerobic granules are and how they form, discusses the key factors that influence aerobic granulation, addresses commonly encountered problems, and offers ways to improve process stability.
