Water is essential to all life. Yet, one in three Asians lacks access to safe drinking water, and half the people living in Asia and the Pacific do not have access to adequate sanitation.

ADB's Water for All Publication Series focus on water issues facing poor people in the developing member countries of the Asian Development Bank.

ADB's Water Awareness Team showed the Water Voices documentary 'Tinagong Paraiso' ('Hidden Paradise') in two poor communities in the Philippines and held focus group discussions after the viewing to analyze the video's immediate effects on the residents' knowledge and attitudes, and to assess the Water Voices documentary series' potential in influencing community practices.
