Wedel brings to this little book of sermons more than four decades of experience in the pulpits of parishes that range from rural to small city to major suburban and finally to a central city congregation in Minneapolis. That experience is reflected in four previously published works and in sermons that have been included in fifteen homiletical publications of major church publishers. His lectures on preaching have been heard in seminaries and pastoral groups throughout the Mid West. Now in Naples, Florida, his retirement from parish work involves a continued ministry in writing, teaching, and lecturing.
