"We Own the Night" is the sequel novel to "The Writing of the Wrong." The enemy has now become domestic as Joshua is informed that his friend Detective Gene Shroud has been killed in a gang shootout. The giant awakens immediately and seeks revenge from the leader of the gang PFM. He captures PFM and almost wipes out his entire gang as the giant brings PFM to justice but PFM receives another kind of sentence; not to prison but to help Joshua put an end to gang violence once and for all.
