What they share are a common bloodline and a curse. There is a menace that intends to beat them down, for no other reason than that each of them tries to live out her life on her own terms. Maybe, they give life to this curse, keeping it alive for the next generation, allowing it to grow ever more devious, because of the decisions that they have made. Maybe, this curse survives through no fault of their own.
