Dani Ben-Ari is an award-winning songwriter and eclectic writer, specializing in both fiction and nonfiction. She has written about thoroughbred horse racing, cars, music, health and wellness, as well as current affairs. She has been published in a variety of periodicals, from The New York Times to Examiner.com (for which she writes five daily columns), Women with Wheels to Newsday, and many more. For this children's book, the author has reached back into her Native American heritage to create a fairytale about Webina, a wicked child who must overcome a series of trials before she can find redemption through the love of others and a way back home.
